Brooklinen's All-Season weight is its most popular, and the specs explain why. It is 80% down and 20% down feather fibers at 700 fill power, sewn into baffle boxes so the fill cannot shift into corners. The shell is 100% long-staple cotton sateen, which is quiet under a cover, and the down is certified Canadian duck down meeting the Responsible Down Standard.
It has up to eight loops to hold it inside a duvet cover, and it is labeled for short and long sides, which saves a minute of turning it round every time you change the cover. For most bedrooms, in most climates, this is the weight to buy.
Brooklinen also makes a Lightweight version at 600 fill power for hot sleepers and a Heavyweight at 750 for cold rooms. Choose by how warm you sleep, not by the season you happen to be shopping in.
The catch. Duck down rather than goose, and the 20% feather fiber share is higher than the premium inserts carry.
